We thought we would check in with you to see how you’re doing post Write by Midnight. Did the habits you developed in February stick with you? Have you been able to maintain a daily writing routine, or fine-tune your routine to better suit your lifestyle? If so, congratulations! We’d love to hear about your progress and what’s working for you.
If not, take time to evaluate why you’re having trouble. Remember that no matter what is keeping you from reaching your goals, it’s temporary. Do not let setbacks become permanent habits. The important thing is to keep trying. Start small. If you can’t write every day, set a goal to write every other day, even if it’s just for 15 minutes. If you have a specific, recurring roadblock, try talking it over with other writers. Or share your dilemma with us here and we’ll offer our advice. It’s also okay to pursue a different project for a while and then revisit the one you’re struggling to complete.
We’ll check back in with you next month for an update. Until then, think positively and you’ll find your rhythm. We look forward to hearing about your progress.
